3 and half cup plain flour
2 Tbs milk powder
1 tbs sugar
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 cup lukewarm milk+water
1 sachet instant dry yeast.
1 tsp salt
4 tbs oil
extra flour for kneading
extra oil for coating
melted butter for brushing
Method: take lukewarm water and add yeast and sugar to it. stir well and leave for 10 mins or until mixture become froathy.
sift flour and milk powder in a bowl add salt and mix well.
Add oil and milk and water mixture to yeast solution and mix.
Combine the dry and wet ingredients and mix well. Mixture will be very sticky. Use extra flour generously and knead well to a soft and elastic dough for about 3-4 mins.
coat with oil, cover with cling wrap or kitchen towel and leave in a warm place for rising for about an hour.
dough will double in size. now knead it again for 1-2 mins.
devide dough in 15 equal portion and roll in a smooth ball shape. place them in greased baking tray leaving about an inch space in between as they'll expand. leave for about 45 mins.
pav will expand and stick to each other.
preheat oven to 220 C for 15 mins. Give milk wash to pavs and bake for 10-12 mins or until light golden brown.
Do not bake for very long time. Remove from oven and brush with butter immediately.
let them cool on wire rack.
your tempting soft yummy pav are ready

Hey i have a microwave... what temp do I set... my max temp is 200 degree... plz reply
ReplyDeleteHi, you cant make these on microwave mode..you need to put microwave on induction/oven mode to bake these..on 220 C
